Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Cochin – A Gateway to Kerala

Upon arrival in Cochin, a warm welcome awaits as you are transferred to your accommodation at Abad Plaza Hotel, located in the heart of the city. Relax and unwind after your journey, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Cochin.

  • Comfortable accommodation at Abad Plaza, centrally located on M.G. Road – a hub for shopping and exploring.
  • Time to unwind after your journey and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2Cruise the Backwaters – Aboard a Traditional Houseboat

Morning transfer to Alleppey to board your Private A/C Bedroom Houseboat (A/C Operates in Bedroom at Night from 9 PM to 6 AM) for a cruise on the Backwaters. The complex network of lagoons, lakes, rivers and canals fringing the coast of Kerala forms the basis of a distinct regional lifestyle. After Lunch, enjoy a cruise on the emerald palm-fringed backwaters of Kerala. Dinner & Overnight on board your Houseboat.

Day 3Cochin – History, Culture & Local Life

AM enjoy short cruise & after Breakfast, transfer 2 hrs to Cochin. Visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European built church in India. Walk around the Jew Street & visit Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fri/Sat), built in 1568 AD, and is the oldest in the commonwealth. It is adorned by hundreds of blue and white hand-painted tiles. Visit the 1555 Portuguese-built Mattancherry Palace, which was gifted to the Maharaja of Kochi as a goodwill gesture to ensure trade privileges. The Palace is now a Museum (Friday Closed). Continue to the giant Chinese Fishing nets at the harbor’s entrance that silhouetted against sunset, present a magnificent sight of the water-front. Check-in to Abad Plaza. Time free for shopping, your hotel is located on the famous M.G. Road shopping area.
